Cornwall Place

A residential area in the Urban Area of the island where old buildings in poor condition were not fit for purpose.

 There was a demolition and rebuild to create new flats and maisonettes on three storeys with car parking at the rear.

 The architecture followed a similar design to the older buildings in the area.

 The layout chosen maximised the use of the buildings on the site and provided much needed homes in the area.
