The hotel is probably one of the longest standing hotels in Guernsey and the original part is certainly one of the oldest buildings.

In years gone by with the increase in tourism there was need for a large expansion of the hotel’s bedroom and other facilities, and a large two and a half storey extension was designed to complement and blend in with the older buildings.
